Ed Cobb honored at the BMI Urban Awards August 30,
2006. Lennie Sorenson Cobb was there in his honor.
Ed's classic hit song, "Tainted Love," which was made ultra famous
by 80's group Soft Cell, has recently been resurrected by Rhianna -
bringing the song, once again, into the hearts and souls of newer generations.
"Tainted Love" rocks again:
Rihanna,
the amazingly beautiful singer from Barbados, uses the melody from Ed Cobb's
classic song, Tainted Love, in her new song "S.O.S."
Rihanna's "S.O.S." is also the new theme song for Nike's latest
clothing line for women. Rihanna performed the song in a commercial for Nike.
